Fredric N. Karlton President
Fredric Karlton is President of Karlton Investment Group Inc., a Miami Beach based real estate investment and development company. He directs the daily operations of the 15-employee company and oversees all departments including finance, acquisitions, sales and marketing and project management. More specifically, Fred Karlton is actively involved in the transactional side of the business, managing and finalizing contractual negotiations.
For the past twenty years, Fred Karlton has been a private investor. During this time, he served as the President of Karlton Investment Group, Inc., his own real estate company that pursues retail and office investments, as well as Karlton CC Investors, LLC, a company that pursues the purchase of rental apartment buildings for the purpose of condominium conversions. Karlton Investment and Karlton Investors are credited with over $1 billion in acquisitions and development over the past 20 years. Among the Karlton’s most notable residential, retail and commercial projects throughout the United States.
Prior to founding his own investment company in 1989, Fred Karlton was a vice president with J.S. Karlton Investment Company, Inc., a family owned business. After graduating college, he made his foray into the real estate industry as a sales associate. Mr. Fred Karlton holds a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Business and Finance from University of Florida.
John Karlton is the Chairman and CEO of J.S. Karlton Company, Inc. J.S. Karlton is a privately owned Real Estate and Management Company dedicated to the acquisition and effective stewardship of income producing Commercial Properties. Mr. Karlton’s Real Estate Career has spanned over 50 years. He founded J.S. Karlton in 1978 and since its inception has invested in a portfolio of properties aggregating over 1.5 billion dollars in value.
Rocky Stein is Managing Director of Real Estate Investments for Karlton Investment Group Inc. His responsibilities include providing strategic direction and management of real estate acquisitions. Rocky Stein served as an Executive Director and Head of the Institutional Division of Stanford Group Company. Prior to joining Stanford, Mr. Stein was a partner in First Equity Corp. of Florida, a regional boutique investment banking firm that specializes in public and private offerings for small and mid-size companies. Mr. Stein was also a Vice President with Prudential Securities & Thomson McKin. non Securities. Mr. Stein attended the University of Florida and has a B.A. in Business Administration from Florida International University. He is member of The National Investment Banking Association.
Bill Bymel is responsible for the acquisitions analysis of non-performing residential & commercial debt portfolios as well as overseeing the servicing and mitigation of currently owned non-performing debt. Mr. Bymel’s experience stems from his partnership in two commercial real estate brokerages, Retail Sites International and Restaurant Sites Inc, and an asset management brokerage founded in 2008, RSI Asset Management LLC. In his brief tenure, Mr. Bymel has developed a track record for excellence and integrity, serving as advisor to numerous national retailers and REITs. He is a member of ICSC, National Board of Realtors, and a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
